Calumet Kennels is a private kennel owned by Harold and Sharon Gierman dedicated to raising and training Labrador Retrievers. The foundation for Calumet Kennels was FC AFC CFC CAFC Gahonk's Pow-Wow. Over the years, other great dogs would follow including CNFC CAFC FC AFC TaylorLab Calumet's Big Blue, winner of the 2010 Canadian National and FC AFC Calumet's Super Sonic.
